Well, I'm back working on my game "Adventures of the 50-Foot-Tall Stalk of Celery" for the Atari 2600. I'm making level 3 an ice world and right now I've got it looping the first few bars of "Winter Wonderland" (which is not present in version #22.) I also had a fight with going between levels 2-3 (which again is not present in version #22), but I (eventually) resolved it. I wish it could snow like in a Very 2600 Christmas (both in the game AND real-life). I wonder if it's doable by putting ASM in VisualbB with the kernel I decided to use. I'd love it if someone would make a penguin sprite. The ideal one would be using nothing but black and have a space for its white stomach, which would be blue since that's what the background is in level 3 at the moment. If a penguin is too hard to make, maybe a polar bear perhaps? The name of this level could be "Ice Spy." Too bad the celery isn't a spy, which would be very fitting. And if not a polar bear, then perhaps an arctic hare? I don't know. So hop over to the bB forum and tell me what you think so far of level 3.
