Hello folks. Today I got a package that was on my doorstep. Nobody stole it. It had been raining and blustery much of the day, so much so that the weather got to me and I had to nap. When I woke up it was about 4pm, and just to be curious, I checked to see if it came. There it was. It didn't blow away. Inside the box were 5 boxed Microvision games, all of them with instruction manuals, and most of the Styrofoam pieces used to make sure that the games didn't rattle around in their boxes were there also. I got Pinball, Bowling, Connect Four, Baseball, and Sea Duel. I couldn't figure out how to play Baseball and Sea Duel, so it looks like I have some instruction manual reading to do. So anyway, now I have six games for the Microvision as well as a CIB Microvision box. The game boxes are in terrific shape. I'm looking to add more games to my collection, it's too bad though that nobody can make homebrew Microvision games. I have a ton of ideas for any if anyone out there can ever figure out how. I'm thinking Tetris would be pretty cool. Using the dial to move the pieces left and right and a button to fire. Some of the logic of this game I bet can be found in Connect Four, where the pieces fall down vertically into their places, as well as logic of when to stop falling, so maybe that would be a good place to start. If anyone out there has a spare Microvision Connect Four cart as well as a very smart mind who can figure out how the logic gets programmed onto the cartridge (wishful thinking probably), I'd love to see some Tetris goodness on my Microvision!
