Insecticide update - 12/29/11

I fought and fought with the code for a few hours just to get a Virtual Boy test screen in the game. It doesn't seem that hard to do when you say it. First VIDE didn't choose the colors correctly. Then when it did, it only displayed half the corners. After reading about PVB's 2010 contest where it had something similar, I finally remembered and did it correctly. Then I had to change it so if you press Start and then Select, you didn't see it flashing before the title screen. So all in all that took about 90 minutes. Then I worked on the Insecticide website just now. I had to research how to change the link colors in html. Magenta links on a maroon background is hard to read, so I made the unclicked links blue, the active links white (the same color as the text), and the visited links black. I'd like the text to be the same font as the default Game Boy (i.e. Tetris), but I'd need to look at all 26 letters and 10 numbers closely in order to do that and I don't know where to do that. And, if anyone has a spare or needs to get rid of it, I'm looking for T&E Virtual Golf (the Japanese version of Golf for Virtual Boy). I have the American version, but I'd also like the Japanese one too. I doubt I'll have enough money to spring for, say, Space Squash or anything, but I would like to have my VB as complete as possible without the very expensive games.
