Well, it did snow last night and this morning. Not very much though, probably about an inch. They're still saying it could snow again tonight, but I doubt it since there doesn't seem to be enough moisture, although it is 32 right now, so anything that would fall would be snow. Anyway, I'm thinking of changing the (planned but not programmed in yet) control scheme. Instead of B + right control pad, I think I'll make it just the right control pad to attack the opponent. Left would be to attack left with the middle legs, Right would be to attack right with the middle left legs, while up would attack with the upper left legs and down would attack with the lower left legs. This would leave the B button open for something else (maybe like to block or something.) I don't really know how to go about programming a fighter game, it's one of my least favorite genres, right up there with RPGs and most sports (I do however like NBA Jam's always on fire code!) So, if anyone has any input on how to program a fighting game, be sure to give me pointers. I fixed a few problems with the ROM from earlier today. First off, the lines that were spaced at the top are gone and second, Gi-Ant now has 6 legs again (I don't know how I could have missed that!) I looked it over with my FlashBoy and everything appears to be working good. The only problems I see is that if you don't choose Gi-Ant as both the fighter and opponent, things get wacky, probably due to the fact that Gi-Ant is the only fighter programmed in and all the movement is specific to him. I'll probably disable being able having the fighter and opponent being the same character because it would get really confusing. The only reason I enabled it is to see what it would do if I had two fighters on the screen at once. And I'll change it once the guy who is doing my graphics comes up with a drawing of another insect. Here's a picture of two Gi-Ants in a beehive. I don't know why he decided to work on the Rumblebee's background first instead of Gi-Ant's, but I'll just let him do whatever he wants in regards to what to work on in what order.
