It strikes me as interesting that for Ninendo gaming that Bubsy Bobcat would be chosen. But as I'm finding out by interviewing the DeviantARTists and others, many people had a Nintendo/Sega and Bubsy was one of the first games they had. I know that was my (Doctor Clu's) case for the Atari Jaguar. So if Bubsy was not a mascot for any system he is at least iconic.
