Due to poor sound quality from heavy audio compression (to save data space on cartridges), players would think Bubsy said in place "Watch your pockets or you'll go wrong!" This created mixed reaction, from laughter to confusion. The former developers even to this day refuse to comment on this."

Bubsyverse Bio of Bubsy Bubsy is the hero of all of the Bubsy games, whether you like it or not. He's a smart-aleck with no room to talk--he has such a bad attention span that he even let his niece and nephew (the Bubsy Twins) wander into history itself without him noticing!! Being that he acts like he knows everything, he talks a lot, providing humorous intros to stages. In addition, Bubsy loooves yarn, but also has a soft spot for children.
