Some internal changes. Collision with enemy objects is now structured using techniques from Sensational Santuci Sisters. I'm up to using variable t which is worrying. Variables are damn scarce!

 

Visible changes are that your sheild bars flash when a player is damaged. yay.

 

Getting a little sleepy and stupid. Must. Keep. Working!

Whoa! That hour went by fast. Added in bounds checking for both players on-screen. Had a little trouble finding the right place to correct the ships y position without distorting the graphics.

 

Making stupid typos and having brain farts. Cold water seems to keep me awake better than coffee. Can I make it another hour?

Getting less and less productive. Heading off to bed. Made status update change in main MMSBC 2 topic.

 

Was this coding stunt worth it? I think so. Pillaging my sleep time is detrimental to coding. It DOES reinforce the urge to code, though. If you don't keep doing something doing nothing becomes the new norm. Also, when adding features to the game I also reinforced the event oriented structure used in the Sensational Santuci Sisters.
