I'm pretty good with BASIC. But you know who really kicks butt with BASIC? Friggin' Jeff Denials from the Daniel web site. He could make a VIC-20 game in BASIC that wasn't a stiff, ugly, flickery mess.

We are investigating a bug with the latest release of the #FujiNet v1.3 firmware, which causes timed out TCP connections to TNFS to not reconnect properly.

This error appears when the FujiNet is left on for an extended period of time.

    • I just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out and special thank you to a couple fellow Atariage members. Much appreciation for the great quality workmanship by Nyuundere/ Adan Toledo G. on his excellent Intellivision game soundtrack CD's,and an equal amount of thanks and respect to 8 bit widgets/ Caleb Garner for his amazing Intellivision CD holders. Thanks guys for making the Intellivision collecting world a better place with your contributions!😊👍
    • Please, it's always a pleasure to publish games for all Atari fans to play.
    • That’s ironic I used Avery Stickyback full sheets and hand cut mine also! I called them mailing labels says shipping but sounds like the same thing. Where mine fall short, I didn’t add the fonts or use a high end printer. That’s where your labels really shine! They look awesome!
    • Well, my order for the Blue Retro bluetooth dongle finally arrived. Not too bad a shape, considering they ship w/o an outer box.. Here's the 'core'.. ...aaand they sent the NES version cables... Double checked and I did indeed order the Sega Gen version.. And now the wait and hassle to get it sorted. This was my first aliexpress order (that I recall) if you can believe that.
    • I love the idea that because some of us are supportive of using Windows to update the 2600+ makes us shameless defenders of Windows or Windows fanboys.   I use everything. We deploy and administer both Windows and Linux in my corporate environment. Windows in general and specifically as a server platform is a pain in the ass to support. You'll get no argument from me about that. That's not really the issue here. Linux servers are nice because once you get it working how you want, it's fairly "set and forget it" compared to Windows.   I also use Macs, and Linux and Windows at home. They all have their good and bad points. Windows, for all it's faults and inscrutably stupid design flaws, simply works with everything. Linux is fun to tinker with and is useful for coding and compiling code, but I would never trust it as my daily driver OS for home use. Macs are nice, and easy to use, sure. They look pretty, and the OS is cutesy. But it doesn't do shit. There isn't shit for software available for it, and unless you're a *nix coder building your own apps for it, it's really limited. For some people, that limit is fine. Not for me.   But the whole brand loyalty/inflexibility about using Windows is just smug, arrogant wankery. It's like being a computer Vegan. All I ever picture is Meg and Hamilton Swan from the movie Best in Show when I hear someone rail on about how bad Windows is or how great Macs are.
    • Some days ago I was suddenly unable to connect to this forum. Whenever I opened the URL, I was redirected to an empty page in the admin subtree, if I remember correctly.   I had to clear the browser cache to make it work again (and to re-login in every site I visited). This is somewhat disturbing.
    • Shift838, can't figure the files out on your link. Any chance you could mail the files to me? I'd appreciate it!   --Kev
    • Well, with the firmware patches established (per this original thread posting), you can change all the images to your liking... Perhaps you already know this and are just promoting alternative images to choose from, in which case, sorry if I'm misunderstanding.   Depending on what "class_type" the game is entered under, such as I believe with the BONUS games, I think it uses the JPG file by default for the menu.    Other sections will use the [game file prefix]_menu.png file to display under the "menu" listing for the related section(s).   So for the game entry that points to 'Super Breakout' (class_type is 6 in this case),  /data/Games/Atari_Games/Atari Arcade/sbrkout.zip, you'd have these filenames to work with.
    • @jedimatt42 I just installed the TIPI system on a new flash card and prepared everything for web service usage. I noticed that I'm getting an error reported in syslog that the TI-99/4A DSR RESET service did not start. The reason seems to be that the directory /sys/devices/platform/tipi_gpio/tipi-reset does not exist.   This may not be important for a pure web service usage, and I can actually reset the TIPI from the emulation or by connecting to tipi:9900. I just wondered about that error. I'm not sure whether this occurred after I did an apt update/upgrade.
    • I also believe Firefox now caches the URL domain for a download that been triggered and afterwards it just automatically says nope. Same domain instant don't allow even if a different file. If you have your Firefox clear cache and all cookies on exit it helps.
