Did anyone else get an email from JUDGE.ME asking for a review of something from the AtariAge Store?  For all I know Atari is working with this company,  but they asked for a review of something I bought 11 years ago!  (They thought I bought it 14 days ago)  And it is signed  Thanks, The AtariAge Team.  I just want to make sure this isn't some scam...

Same here. Asked me to review a purchase I made years ago, claimed the purchase was two weeks ago. Looks like AtariAge was hacked?
      6. Albert

Not a hack, this was an email accidentally sent from the new store we're using.  Judge.me is a plugin that handles reviews (and you'll be able to reply to reviews now, include pictures, and so forth, so it'll be a lot nicer in the new store as far as reviews go).  You can safely ignore the email.

Did you know during the early strips, Jon and Garfield use to smoke? That's right, Jon use to smoke a pipe and Garfield would steal it from Jon to have a puff.

Eventually, Jim Davis ended both of their smoking because it would promote children to consider the habit.

I have this game on Switch & beat it.  It also included the Space Invaders vs Arkanoid game too.  But I haven't played it in a while.  There are a lot of levels.  It's an interesting mix of the 2 games though.

My two most recent reproduction cartridges (of some unreleased games). Astro War and Mazy Match

I absolutely love the label art on these two cartridges. It kind of gives me "hippie/black light" vibes. I might have to put these right next to my Jimi Hendrix poster 😜

This is pretty cool.  Thanks for sharing.

    • Rather strange phenomenon. There is no difference in how the two programs are build and/or loaded. The SAMS memory is only initialized after the program startup. So that can't be it.
    • 1) Tested the program in a TI99/4A with F18A VDP and a Geneve system.   2) Dm2k80 Doesn't support the HDX1. Didn't think of this option. I make a not for the next release.   3) Dm2kts: If the WHTECH SCSI card supports a clock and file time stamping and by default opens the directory with a record length of 146 it should. In the upper left corner you see the maximum files the file buffer can handle (MAXF=167) and the record length the device returns after opening the directory (RLEN= 38 or 146).  Remember, this is a test/debug program. So I don't add anything for just the TI99/4A or Geneve. It must be operational for both. Have to add an option for forcing the record length to 38 or 146 but that is for some next time.
    • For an official (I never would call it final!) non beta update I agree that it would be nice, to have it done in one go by use of several platforms.   For the beta testing, I am happy that SW and dumper are seperated, so they could be up- and downgraded seperately. It helped me a lot to narrow down issues by that (dumper related or not, the release it got introduced...).   Let's see what Ben brings up for official updates, for beta testing I am quite happy with the current process and its benefits for testing.
    • I can usually hit par for the course.
    • In a couple years, it would probably be the perfect time to do an indie homebrew book covering all the releases. Which would be a nice handy reference considering the increasing amount of homebrews that continue to be released.
    • I'm happy to have found an answer to some of these questions:       The PDWS Document Writing System, and PDWS Memo Writing System, was a formatter macro language, used to make the standard format of  technical documents.       PDWS-Document-2-1-dotmatrix.pdfPDWS-Memo-2-1-dotmatrix.pdfPDWS-Document-2-1-letterqual.pdf
    • Hmmm OK, that sounds reasonable.  The thing that strikes me though, is the rigid plastic it's printed on.  This is not your typical posterboard.  I worked for a print shop in the late 1990s, and printing on something like this plastic was not necessarily easy (or cheap) to do at that time (and again, I acquired this in 1999, so it is certainly at least 25 years old, produced before the current age of digital printing.  If it is indeed "home-made," that just adds to the mystery for me; like, why was it even made?  Certainly regular poster paper would have been much easier to print at that time.
    • I just added rc18 to the the first post. Also made some updates to the docs.   The changes are all related to the LFO (formerly called "auto-mod") for the synth part. I added a descending mode and fixed an off-by-one bug.
    • Well thank you but all the graphics were made by a few in the “elite” areas of the BBs community back then.    I just got lucky that the disks that held the files were readable.     I have no talent in atascii art. I have managed to adjust some of the menus as needed but that is about the limit.    Amis created a few screens on FoReM xe.    I do think there is an atascii art contest from time to time.    but thank you again for the kudos.    giarc
    • Pletter is a file compressor. It compress your files on PC and provide you a fast decompressor in Z80 asm to be included in your sources. I presume that if CVBasic will support pletter compression then it will be totally automatic by some dedicated new command (as the ones he added for cartrige pages switching) There are megarom cartridges also for colecovision, so no worry about it
