Thanks everyone...

Surgery is scheduled for Thursday, I'm on a mega antibotic cocktail to try and nuke out any residual infection I may have before the surgery, gonna be a lot more then I had originally thought, I have a psuedoanuerism on the root of my aorta and the surgeon is considering replacing the original mitral valve he put in back in June and is going to examine the aortic valve for a 1-3mm "possible" infection they see, but can't determine yet until they go in.

Marty, Albert and Karl are all in the loop and will get updates as things going along, I've got limited wifi here at the hospital so at least I can post on AA, outbound smtp is a big no-no so answering emails is not an easy process, but I've got the beginnings of a decent work around forming.

I'm coding Adventure II on windows right now, so that is keeping me busy and I've made the decision that once I get home, get well enough and get the joystick shipments on track, have decided that I will go forward with doing the paddle controllers in the late Spring, a lot of people have asked for them and I think they will be well received.

So I'm staying positive, looking forward to recovering and getting back on track with the classic gaming products. Thank you to everyone for you support and kind words.

Curt

For those who are not aware I've been having an on-going battle with issues with my heart.
Curt's heart was overloaded with Atari love, and couldn't handle any more. He tried to pack a little more in, but everyone has their limits.

I thought Atari broke Curts heart when they cancelled the Flashback portable project :)

But seriously, get well soon Curt!

Once you're done, remember to take something like Jarro-Dophilus to replace the 'good bugs' that the antibiotics kill off.

Hope everything goes well. I plan to buy at least two paddle controllers when the time comes (if enough are available). My mother will be playing Kaboom and I'll be playing Circus Atari until my eyes fall out.

I know this operation is really about replacing the 6507 powering your internals with a brand new one built by Legacy Engineering. But I'll keep that secret between you and me. Oops. Seriously though, good luck and we'll be praying for you.

Sorry to hear you;re under the weather, Curt. Did you bring along a 2600 and Fantastic Voyage? Maybe you can let your doctor play that so he'll learn the proper was to do heart surgery on a 2600 fan.

Hang in there...before you know it you'll be done with all the surgery and stuff and it'll all seem like a distant memory.

I love this line right here. You can take the games away from the boy, but you can't take the boy away from the games. Seriously, coding in the hospital?! That's dedication.

Get well soon, Curt!
