Not sure how that kind of setup would work or if it ever did and this video is from a failed project. There are bunch of other clips from the laserdisc up on YouTube as well. Its a pretty fun bit of propaganda from Warner era Atari. When I see clips like this its amazing at the whole optimism there was back then. That and the strength of the Atari name and brand.
