nintendo
Today I found an Atari demo cart of Koalapaint for the Atari (400 or 800? Not too familiar with what Atari computers use this cartridge). So anyone else have one of these, and how rare is this cart? This is what the label says: KOALAPAINTER (ATARI) For Demo Only Not For Resale copyright 1983
Rybags
No idea. How about uploading a dump?
nintendo
I would if I had the means.
miker
Maybe first tell us where do you live and then it's easier find nearest person who can do it. That's all i think.
Rybags
filecopy.zip Try that program. Although you'll need an APE interface or other means to transfer it to the real machine. Just a LOADable Basic program which can copy non-banked cartridges. Select the copy cart option. Then insert cart, press a key. Remove cart then press a different key. Then use the Save option. It saves it as a binary file, but doesn't put proper loader on it. But if you are able to upload that image, we could easily convert it to something runnable. If you don't have the means to get the program to your real Atari, let us know - I should be able to create something that would do the job with a few minutes of you typing it in. nintendo
The only Atari systems I have are the 2600 and 5200. I'm in California, so there should be someone here that could help dump this. Edited July 8, 2007 by nintendo
nintendo
This is just a bump to let you all know I've posted pics of the actual cart.

Ogma
I just acquired a crazy lot of Atari stuff and it had one of these Koalapainter carts in it, as well... Brown cart with a simple label reading: "For Demo Only" / "Not For Resale"
Nukey Shay
Koalapainter marked as "Not for resale" is as rare as 2600 Mousetrap labelled "Not for resale". Which is to say not rare at all. The cart was included as part of a package, so this was to discourage vendors from splitting up the package and selling things individually. Oh...POSTCOUNT + 1 Edited September 22, 2010 by Nukey Shay
