Dan Iacovelli
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Contact Person: Dan Iacovelli Organization: Video Game Summit Telephone Number: (708) 273-6029 Email Address: VideoGameSummit@yahoo.com Web site Address: http://avc.atari-users.net/VGS.html Video Game Summit Registration Announced Chicago, Illinois – (December 31st, 2007) – Remember how much fun you used to have playing Atari, Nintendo and all kinds of games on your computer? Well, you will have the rare opportunity to play these great games again at the Video Game Summit, a video game and computer trade show. In fact, several dealers in retro games will be on hand offering games, controllers, systems and memorabilia and will be prepared to buy or trade for the games you have held onto since you were a kid. Who knows, you might just have an Atari cartridge worth $1000 or more collecting dust in your attic. “Retrogaming,” the playing and collecting of vintage video and computer games, is more popular than ever. In fact, a dedicated group of programmers still issues new games for game systems, such as the Atari 2600, last seen in retail stores over fifteen years ago. The Video Game Summit, now in its fifth year, brings together retrogamers from all over the country to swap stories, games and to compete in sanctioned tournaments. The event is open to the public and people of all ages with an interest in video games or computers are encouraged to attend. According to the event’s organizer, Dan Iacovelli, “we plan to have several gaming consoles set to free play and a trade room where collectors will be free to swap their extra games.” Best of all, admission is free! The Video Game Summit is held on July 12th, 2008 and will run from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and will be held in the Heron Point Building adjacent to the Fairfield Inn located at 645 West North Avenue in Lombard, Illinois. Registration is open now at http://avc.atari-users.net/Events/VGS_files/register.html. Dan Iacovelli is available to answer any questions at (708) 273-6029 or VideoGameSummit@yahoo.com. Dan Iacovelli is the chairperson of Atari Video Club and has published a retrogaming fanzine “Atari Zone” since 1993(for more information on AVC visit: http://avc.atari-users.net ) For information: http://avc.atari-users.net/VGS.html or Contact: VideoGameSummit@yahoo.com or Phone: (708) 273-6029 ### Be sure to check the news page as well at the VGS website as well for news on our game show. Dan Iacovelli
Since Jagfest at MGC seemes to be doing ok with or with out my help( I did offer to supply a couple jagfest on tour items for prizes) I think it's time for it to return where it all began 11 yrs ago, Chicago,IL(Video Game Summit to specific) our first couple shows had a Jagfest section consisting of my Jaguar,Tom's Lynx display and we even had Terrence williams of Force Designs. Our last show in 2006, barely had anything for the Jagfest wwith exception of my Jaguar(and I think Goat store had one though) this year I would to see: Network of at least three or Jaguar games(Battle Sphere,Doom, orAircars) at least two or three non-networking systems( this will display carts and CD games) hopefully Tom's Lynx dsiplay will return(if not at least two or three would be good) a Nuon System will be good as well Now we can't give you table spots due to our small space,so you have to pay for your own tables, but I make sure your all in the same location. if your interested in helping out e-mail me at VideoGameSummit@yahoo.com Subject: Jagfest Section. Thank You Daniel Iacovelli Video Game Summit Event Organizner Edited February 21, 2008 by Dan Iacovelli

Dan Iacovelli
in the tradition that started at CGE and continued into MGC: AVC Online proudly follows the tradition by not only having an after the show gathering but as well as having Pre-show gathering. the Original plan was to have just an after show gathering at Nickel City arcade in Northbrook,IL but Todd Rogers from Twin Galaxies has to leave right after the show, so we moved it to Friday july 11th but we also going to have an after the show gathering at Safari Land in Villa Park,IL. The full details are still sketchy, but for now we would just like head count of those who are coming to the show as well as the gatherings Edited June 14, 2008 by Dan Iacovelli

Also, I am mailing the cards today, so glad I saw your post I think they should still get to you in time.
