When we moved out of the game business we did have a ton of marketing materials, carts, you name it but stuff then wasn't worth the cost of hauling it away. The VP sales went on to inventory liquidation and when there was 2600 material included, he paid for it and then had it destroyed. Cost of freight was greated than the sale value. I kept a few samples that kicked around for all these years and never gave them much thought. The BBB game came too late in the 2600 cycle and, at the time, wasn't worth relaeasing. The market was saturated. This is a prototype in that it is the final version, has a funky Telesys shipping label, and I doubt that there are other copies in existance. It was never sent out for review or mass production. I have a few other carts in the same condition that were probably prototypes of some of the released games but I don't see how they would be of any particular value. Other than some that are in ROMOX plastic, that's about it. ROMOX, if I recall correctly was licensing games and running them on their own console. I don't recall modifying the games but I'm sure some of you know the answere petter than I do. Just a piece of trivia for those who have suffered thru this post, the Telesys VP of Marketing did a promotion where he had the purchasing managers in the various distributors UPSed a used tire. No accompaning information. The following week, he sent them a picture of a very large, very grumpy gorilla saying that he had sent them (the purchasing agent) Bobo's favorite toy. The Romox has their plastic and label and a hanwritten game name since these are not production Romox. I don't even recall what, if anything, was ever released by them but these were given back to us by Romox. Labels not in great shape. I wish I had one of the combo carts that Amiga licensed from us. They had the booth next to us at Comdex Las Vegas and even had displays of the combo carts. When they went thru the licensing process, we couldn't figure out where they thought they would find a market. Of course, they didn't.
