the 5th ghost
Just thought I'd post comparison pix of the various gray heavy sixer, pong, and Sears Tele-Games power supply units I have. First, I have three distinctly different gray heavy sixer power supplies: 1) tannish color (or yellowed), 8W 9VDC made in Sunnyvale 2) gray with large Atari logo, 9W 9VDC made in Los Gatos 3) gray with small Atari logo, 9W 9VDC made in Los Gatos Then, I have four different Sears power supplies (or Battery Eliminators) used with the Pong type and other dedicated consoles. All four are made from the same mold as the gray heavy sixer power supplies (#2, #3 above): 1) silver text, 8W 5.5VDC 2) silver text, 8W 5.5VDC part #6-99702 3) gold text, 8W 9VDC part #6-99703 4) light blue text, 9W 9VDC (could serve as a heavy sixer PS) part #6-99704 Finally, the last two I have for comparison are the Atari Pong Battery Eliminator, and the Sears Video Arcade II power supply. 1) Atari Pong, 4W 5.5VDC says Sunnyvale, CA, but says made in Mexico 2) Sears Video Arcade II, 15W 9.5VAC made in Taiwan. Note that the plug end of the Sears VAII power supply is larger than all the other regular power supplies, making it unique in that regard. I didn't include pix of the standard black power supply that is most common with the light sixer and 4 switch units, nor the Taiwan gray unit of the same size, since I figured most poeple here are already very familiar with those. Although, I did at one point have a Sears version of the common black power supply, which would have been cool to show, but I don't have it any more. Maybe someone here does?? Please post pix if you do! Edited April 20, 2008 by the 5th ghost

student
There is also a C010180 power supply mentioned inside Atari Hockey Pong manual that should be 9V but no pictures of it.
Crazymoon67
Actually he is wrong the power supply made in Japan grey with black sticker was a Heavy 6 power supply for units serial # or letter in this case J - N and then yes it carried over to the light 6er units.
