+atari2600land
I got bored so I made this: A racing game with a track editor. Right now, the game starts with the track editor. To make lines, press fire & the joystick. To erase a line, just send the cursor over it without pressing fire. To start the game, press the reset switch. The game will then draw a finish line according to where you put a playfield block and then you can begin racing (although the whole game is in the very early stages.) Players 1 & 2 both work, although there is no computer AI as of yet. I don't know if I'll be able to do computer AI, though, so I'll need someone to help me on that. trackeditor1.bas.bin trackeditor1.bas

+atari2600land
Here's a better version. Right now I'm only using 4k, but I put the romsize to 8k because I'll probably have to use it. Anyway, the track editor now knows if you did one or more of a two things wrong in the editor, and if you did, it will go back to the editor. (see example 1 at bottom. If you have the playfield start where the car is, the car will move forward until there's no playfield left. In this example, when there's no playfield left, the car will be outside the track. The program knows this and therefore this won't be an acceptable track and will go back to the editor. Also, the other thing is, if the playfield impedes the finish line (i.e. it can't even begin to draw it), it'll go back to the editor. trackeditor2.bas.bin trackeditor2.bas Edited July 27, 2008 by atari2600land
+atari2600land
Added a 1-player game option. Player 2 can't move left or right for some reason (help!) indy501v4.zip
