Getting Organized - Suggestions/Improvements/News/etc.

There are tons of improvements that can be made to AtariAge--here in the forums, the main site, the rarity guide, you name it. I work pretty well from lists, and in order to get things a bit more organized, I've setup several "AtariAge" categories in the "Tracker" to help keep track of them. You can find them here:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...p;showproject=6

You can also get to them by following the "Tracker" link at the top of the forum, and then clicking the "AtariAge" link.

Right now I've setup five categories:

- News (for Atari-related news you feel is worthy to be posted to the front page of the site)

- Forums (for suggestions on how to improve the forums, or to report bugs)

- Site Functionality (for suggestions for improvements for the main site, outside of the forums)

- Site Content (you can submit new or updated content here, or suggest corrections to existing content)

- Rarity Guide (for suggestions on rarity guide adjustments/additions)

I have a nice backlog of projects already, and I'll start adding them to the Tracker. It'll be much easier for me to bang them out with them organized in this manner, plus people can make their own suggestions as well as comment on each of the submitted issues. If you've been asking me to do something on the site for a while, please submit an issue in the Tracker (or give me a gentle reminder and I'll do it). :)

Sorry, but I never used this "Tracker" and I have no idea what it is useful for.

To stop me from feeling stupid anymore, can someone explain, please?

The "Tracker" is basically a bug management application that lets you keep track of various issues related to some sort of project. It doesn't have to be used to track "bugs", though, and can be used to track pretty much anything. A few people have used it for development projects here, although they seem to lose steam after a bit. I decided to start using it to track AtariAge "issues"--pretty much a to do/suggestions list that people can add to. Makes it easier for me to keep track of things that need to be done, and I can mark them as completed once I've finished them.
