mcge0053
Has anyone ever compiled a list of which games will (and will not) work on an unmodified Supercharger? I've been going through the ol' trial-and-error method, but it's slow going. I don't even know which games are under 8k until I download them! Luckily 4k only take 30 seconds with a 300 baud modem! Impaler_26
Here is a list of Supercharger compatible games. You should also check this thread with Supercharger conversions by Nukey Shay.
Nukey Shay
Yeah, I've got the incompatables down to 21 before losing interest (since they all have SO many problems that SC-incompatability is the least important thing to try to correct). Maybe this should be a poll? Who would want the leftover crap games made compatable without any other changes? It usually takes less than an hour to do each one. I guess I got impatient Edited March 12, 2009 by mcge0053
Nukey Shay
The list doesn't appear to be 100% correct, tho. I just recently did Sub Scan (which turns out, is not compatable)...and the 4k version of Ghost Manor is not even a legit rom image (it's only half of the game that was dumped incorrectly ages ago AFAIK...which is why you are stuck on the graveyard scene). Casino should crash when you get a blackjack (because the blank bitmap sits right on the hotspots), Carnival will crash if the programmer's initials are displayed, etc.

Impaler_26
I noticed that Entombed crashes quickly into the game, and Kabul doesn't exist! Kabul! is a hack of Kaboom!.
Nukey Shay
The volume table for music in Entombed exists over the hotspots. I already made a compatable version of that. As far as Kabul! goes, I'm generally not touching post-1992 hacks or homebrews (since it's up to the authors if they want SC-compatability or not). I'll still post what needs to be done to a rom image to make such a title compatable if the question arises, but otherwise it's not part of the project...which is to get the classic library compatable with unmodded hardware (optimally to correct any problem issues present in the original games). Impaler_26
Zach Matley also made a few Supercharger Conversions: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30497. And i found a few SC-Conversions of homebrews...
