PacManPlus
Hi: In keeping with the 5200 hacks, here is the 7800 version of Pac-Man Plus. Whew. I think I'm all Pacced out for a while, time to attempt another game (although I don't know many others as well as I know this one) I actually would love to try my hand at helping to finish 5200 Tempest... but I have to learn how collision detection works first :-/ Anyway, Have fun! PacManPlus
How about Ladybug for the 7800? 867268[/snapback] That would be cool, but I think I would have to start from scratch with that one - I'm not exactly ready to start from scratch yet
Feralstorm
Ladybug is kinda like Pac-Man, right? just hack it! (yes, I am kidding)
Shannon
Nice. Besides the obvious (like some of the effects). But then this is the 2600 sound chip we are talking here. Did you do a microsoft? I dont remember the maze blinking at the end of the level (at least not in the pac-man hack). Non-the-less it is cool seeing all these pac variants for the 7800. Does pac-man start off moving so fast in pac-man plus? I'm just curious. Does the 2600 have a CPU stack? And if so where is it stored? vdub_bobby
I'm just curious. Does the 2600 have a CPU stack? And if so where is it stored? The 2600 has a stack, it is usually stored at $00FF and downward, through $0080.
PacManPlus
Hi Shannon Thanks! Yes, the maze blinks at the end of the level for each pac variant The arcade Pac-ManPlus starts of at the 'Apple' speed, so I did the same in the hack
Shannon
Oh ok cool. I was kinda half asleep and coming down with something when I was checking them out. Very nice! Keep up the good work!
Breakpack
mmmmmm love to play these on a real 7800...................... :D
Feralstorm
I do. I seem to do best with the standards (Pac Man, Pac Plus, Ms. Pac) than the ones with 'complex' maze paths or open areas (Ms. Pac Attack, Hangly-Man) A new Joystick might help there, my old-as-dirt Wico seems be getting a bit insensitive. PacManPlus
I think I will have a small handful of 7800 Pac and an even smaller handful of 5200 Pac Plus soon - check the MarketPlace forum within the next couple of days... Bob

Hey you know what you should do next? Make a Pac-Man Colllection like the one for the Colecovision, and you can put Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man and Pac-Man Plus all on one cart
hacker65xx
The rom have New Puck-X maze , not the maze of the screenshot , where is the rom with original maze ? Edit : I read the manual , for choice original maze is with switch , but it does not work to choice maze with switch (I use emulator pro system 1.3) RE Edit: Ok I find , you have to keep "switch left" pressed and press "button 1" BUT is not a right port , at the end of the levels the maze changes Edited April 27, 2022 by hacker65xx
