i like the screen layout but for what another tracker? or is this old? Miker?

i copied all files into the ATR. just boot and load the tracker with "L TRK7.OBX"

after that you can load the .ms1 music files with "SHIFT L" + filename and play back the song with "SHIFT+CONTROL+R".

but at the moment i can not hear any advantage compared to RMT or TMC...

the only thing is check the song Top1.ms1 where these sounds i haven't heard yet in TMC or RMT... which does not mean that they are not possible in these 2 trackers but...

can somebody confirm, that this tool is not working on a real 130 XE? I can start it but with loading a file from disk it seems to crash.

Okay I know tested the tool on these configurations with no success:

* Atari 130 XE 1MB Ram with QMEG and SIO2PC (my default)

* Atari 130 XE 1MB Ram and SIO2PC

* Atari 130 XE 256kB Ram and SIO2PC

* Atari 130 XE 256kB Ram and DISK (Atari 1050, no emulation)

* a totally different Atari 130 XE and DISK (Atari 1050)

always when I try loading a song (top1, whatever) the tool crashs. That's a pitty because some modules on that disk are really nice :-/

Ok, never mind ;)

The main advantage of this one will be - running on real Atari and using most tracker-commands known straightly from Amiga comps (also predefined "sid-sounds" - like in second.ms1 module).

I have to admit that I really like the "not atari typical static" sounds.

But, I really start to ask myself, if ATARI people ever will do music for ATARI people, or for all.

Ofcourse, we cannot change the technique inside pokey, but we can program it to sound alot more serious, which is only possible with 15kHz programming & 16 bit.

Especially my latest two releases have real amiga music qualities. OK not in the whole tune, but final volume correction only can be done on the real machine.
