I would have changed the auction however since there is a bid it wouldn't let me. By having those games in the auction I knew it would draw more visitors to my auction. I have seen quite a few auctions that don't ship the same game as in the pics, I have seen plenty of systems soaked in Armor All so they look new, I have seen quite a few auctions with bogus info. All I did is to add some game names so people might look at the auction...nothing more nothing less. To those who I have learned from ..Thank you...for those who act like they know more than they do..thank you also..it just makes it easier to really understand who I should learn from and who I should just ignor. No..I don't think so...I know where these have been. I guess I could just take some very dirty sticks...was them/ clean them up real good..pour some armor all on them..and then say they look like new..as I have seen many on ebay with that wording. So if you can show me more joysticks with the same history as these..then I will believe you. How many Waterworlds have sold on ebay in the last 6 months, how many Crazy Climbers, I have seen more than one of each of these..and the others..but have not seen another pair of joysticks that were never sold until now.. So with that...if you don't like don't bid...believe me..your bid or lack of will never impact me. The person who want these..will buy these. Prove to me other wise and I will thanks you for the info....if you can't ...well it's one thing for people to think your an ass...it's another to open your mouth and prove them correct. So I think you should not talk about truth or credibility unless you have the info ...

Absolutely, I have many brand new CX-40 regular joysticks as probably do many other collectors here, but most people don't have stronghold, quadrun, river patrol because they are more RARE. But instead of being able to admit when you are wrong you chastise me for seeing humor in your FALSE statement. Then you resort to name calling. I have made enemies with nobody on this site. Perhaps you will be the 1st, but not because I'm being an ass, but because you can't admit your ignorance. My wife put up a set of Joysticks and some of you guys give her a hard time. My wife is not a collector, however she is learning what is good and what is common. I have a few Rare Carts that will be going up soon..4 that are ranked 9 and 2 10's and they are not Ikari or motorodeo..these carts you guys are going to drool over...and thats a fact!! Just to give you a small taste..one of them you are in a boat within a river with a lot of aligators..and this one is in the box with instruction manual and it is a white cartridge..stay tuned..it is on its way.. As far as the joysticks...the auction had a bid on it when my wife went to change the auction to eliminate that statement, there was a bid and she couldn't, however after a few people started giving her a hard time..well you opened a can of worms..anyway..its not life or death..it's only a set of sticks..so no hard feelings.. yuppicide
You know that auction for the joysticks with hex disc makes no mention that you get a hex disc. Why does it look like 2 pictures showing one hex disc, but the third picture has none?! I think if you won and didn't get a hex disc you'd have no case with ebay to say they were significantly different than advertised so you'd be stuck with $40 joysticks for nothing. Hopefully the other disc fell off in the box. If not...one is not bad at all for $40.

I never intended for it to turn into an argument, but I guess that's the way it escalated. In any case, it's all good and I'm looking forward to seeing the rare games you list shortly. spawnshop
You guys think this is legit?? I know it's not a "Sears", but real Atari or no? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-2600-Heavy-Sixer-Joystick-Controller-with-Hex-Disc-/181858112209?hash=item2a579692d1

The hex disc is metal and it looks exactly like the two that are included in my personal cib heavy sixer set. I am always skeptical with these as well but this one is real. There are fakes out there that are made of heavy paper stock but i have yet to come across a repro/fake made of metal. If you need better pics i would be happy to provide you with some, not to mention an AA member discount on the price. Sean

Unfortunately, it's way out of my price league of collecting at the moment...LOL. Good luck with the auction!

Good luck with the auction! Thanks. I pretty much want to keep all of the hex discs that i come across but i have too many other collecting interests and have to be satisfied with the two i have kept. I do also own a cib telegames heavy sixer set including two of the super elusive Sears hex disc controllers. Those two took me years to find. That's the joy of collecting though!
