pps
Dear programmers, I´d like to start a short "contest" to give the world a new Atari 8-bit Demo. I like to get all stuff until december 31st to release a little New Years Disc. Would be cool to have many screens from all over the world. Do what you want. It´ll be cool to get as much as possible. If you get a binary file (assembler or c or ...) it´ll be nice, if you jump thru reset vector after your screen ends, so there can be a multiloader. If someone likes, pictures and music are welcome too. Send all your stuff to ppsberlin_at_web_dot_de.
Heaven/TQA
allright.... maybe.... 64k machine? or 128k?
pps
That´s absolutely your choice. Write it, send it to me with the needed informations and I´ll put it onto the disc. Really everything is cool. This demo shall be a cool start into this new year and also be a 'Hello ATARI 8-Bit´s still alive!' to the world Edited December 24, 2006 by pps
pps
Ok folks! For a short introduction here a first "part" for the disc. It´s more releated to the days, we are celebrating now, than to New Year weihnachtsbaum.zip

Gury
Here is my Christmas tree for you. No title screen, no greetings, no sound, just the tree with flashing lights. After pressing Esc key you go back to DOS. tree.zip Edited December 26, 2006 by Gury
pps
Hey, cool idea Looks quite nice this tree. What about a little fireworkseffect for the disc? Who will do this?
Gury
Thx, it's little Atari Christmas tree Anyone can use it in any way. But sorry I didn't do something more, I would definitely need more time, maybe next time. I hope you will get some holiday stuff for your disc. Cybernoid
Okay, here is my Holidays 2006 Demo! I took a game I was working on and added a Christmas feel and music. This is playable game demo. The basic idea is: In the theme of puzzle games that don't make much sense, there are red, green and blue Christmas balls hidden in the 9 candy canes. You need to turn all the trees surrounding the candy canes into christmas trees. You do this by clicking on them with the cursor to shoot a magic Christmas light into the candy canes. The light will come out somewhere as red, green, blue, yellow, purple, cyan or white light. This will tell you where to move the cursor to place the Christmas balls... Have fun, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Atari Year Y'all!!! xmasbox.zip Edited December 27, 2006 by Cybernoid
