Sounds good to me :)
BTW - What about the Brain Boost series from Majesco? Probably somewhat of a small release.

Yeah, I don't have those two yet but have seen them around. I think one is Gamma and the other is Beta or something like that. Now that you have mentioned it, I will have to be on the look out. Just about every game that someone has mentioned in this thread since I started it is sitting proudly on my shelf. I play most of them but some are just there....it's the collector in me.

Just a head's up, that Unemployed Ninja game that I can never remember the first name of is either just out or coming out shortly, it's an Atlus title which for me means, it will be mine.

Well, one down. Thanks for the post Crazy Climber, another one to add to my collection:
LINK - I MADE A BEST OFFER

I believe they only retail at $20 each and my $11.50 offer plus the $4 S&H brings me to $15.50. Not the best deal but better than going to the store, trying to find it and then paying tax on top of it all. It's much more fun to open the mailbox one day and have a package, isn't that a great thing! :D

This is my newest addition to my DS collection, it's not technically a game but fairly rare because I believe they were supposed to go back to Nintendo. I don't think this one was ever used on those three days (10/28/05 - 10/30/05) so I may be the first to hear Haylie Duff's annoying voice from it.

If you check on ebay, there are a ton of European relay carts but I'm yet to see a USA one. Sorry to trying to keep this thread alive but I really wanted to share my newest addition, take a look:

Attached Image: nintendogs_relay.jpg Attached Image: nintendogs_relay_back.jpg

My 11 year old daughter was quite excited that I got this since we never made it to a Gamestop last year when the promotion was going on for those three days. She now has some sort of star sunglasses and a different room or house or something to buy.....I don't really play Nintendogs.

Alright, so I'm talking to myself here. It's OK, I do it at home from time to time so why not here at AtariAge. I'll refer to this thread as a history log of my collection. I am currently at 134 different DS titles + the Nintendogs relay card which I don't count as a "game".

My newest discovery of hard-to-find DS titles is, HiHi Puffy Ami Yumi and Top Gun. I have only ever seen Top Gun at a Circuit City once and it was a ridiculous $29.88 or something like that. The Ami Yumi game I have never seen although the Gameboy Advance one was part of the $1.99 clearance at Best Buy recently and I did pick that up.

My newest addition to my collection is a Game & Watch Collection game from the Japan Club Nintendo. I got one that is new and includes the box it was originally shipped in from Nintendo in Japan. Check it....

Will Nintendo ever realease the Game & Watch collection at retail?

You'd think that it would have to be a decent seller and from what I've seen it is a really good collection that has been well done.

I'd definitely get a copy. I almost got the GBA version(s) but they're not the same without the double screens.

One other title that may be rare is the EB Game exclusive Tenchu game that came out. Didn't hear much about it and now that I think of it... I don't see it anywhere.

Tenchu is available new at gamestop.com. It is still $29.99 though.

I don't know why I had such a hard time finding the Worms DS game.

By the way, check out my other post about the DS game I found "in the wild" for $7 yesterday: LINK

nice, id be very happy about that.. only time i really got a good deal form an import other than ebay was when i got dracula x, street fighter zero 3, fatal fury collection, and samurai showdown collection for free as the guy i knew who worked at the game shop i go to got them for free from someone who came in.. the game store owner saw they were saturn games, and japanese at that.. and told him they were worthless, the guy left them there for free as he didnt want them and the store owner game them to me when i came in. that has to be the biggest score i ever got.

I am unable to find a sealed Yu Gi Oh Nightmare Troubador game anywhere. I know it's because of how old it is but I didn't think it would be this difficult. If anyone knows of anywhere that carries it new, please let me know. (besides ebay)

I was at Fry's Electronics today and picked up a clearance DS game, F-24 Stealth Fighter by Majesco and it was the only one they had. It looks like a horrible game but I hadn't seen it before so I picked it up.

That brings my collection to a grand total of  156 Official US titles, 2 Japan titles and a Nintendogs Relay Cartridge  . All games are complete.

Oh, by the way, in an above post I stated how I have never seen a HiHi Puffy Ami Yumi DS game.....I have seen 3 since at 3 different places. I also was talking about Top Gun and I seen another at Fry's Electronics with a $29.99 price tag on it.

Unrelated to this DS post, I saw that ODAMA for the Gamecbue was marked down to $19.99 at Fry's Electronics. It looks like a strange game but may be worth the 20 bucks, I don't know, I have never played it. Perhaps it is this price everywhere now but I just wanted to point it out in case anyone was thinking of picking it up.

158 good games, not a chance. I'd say only a fraction of my collection would be considered good titles. I'm a gamer for the games I play and enjoy and an obsessive, compulsive collector for the rest of the bunch.

I have found that Yu Gi Oh Nightmare Troubadour with the cards is extremely hard-to-find. Not that I would want it to play, just for collecting purposes. I received Top Gun in the mail, I'm going to keep it sealed, I'm sure it is a stinker.

161 US titles now. :)

183 US titles now and still just the two Japan titles. One of my most recent additions was The Harlem Globetrotters....I wonder what kind of print run that got? :?

They are coming out with some obsure games lately.

I just found a Media Dock by the Datel Company at a local pawn shop for $5.99. It didn't have a CF card in it but make fun if you will, I found a small CF card in a box outside one of my apartment complex dumpsters about three weeks ago. It's only a 96MB so quite small but at least I know that the Media Dock works now. You wouldn't believe the stuff people leave behind when they move and they are are so nice to put it outside the dumpster for any scoundrels such as myself. In addition, I found Crate And Barell strainers which sold for $16 and a camera that if I can get to work, will bring a solid $60 on ebay.

Hell of a dumpster dive (without the dive) :)

Anyway, I'm closing in on the 200 mark for DS titles. I currently stand at 192 Official US titles with Pogo Island on the way from Amazon......that will be 193.

BRAG ALERT!!!

I forgot the better part of the Pawn Shop story because I only had the DS Media Dock on my mind when I typed the above. Anyway, the same pawn shop also had two other items that I picked up which are worth mentioning.

I bought THIS (LINK) for $4 plus tax

At this point, you may be very well be asking yourself if you happen to be reading this....."does this guy really like talking to himself?". And the answer is, sure, why not.

195 US DS titles.

Someone name a DS title that they think is a hard-to-find title. I want info, I may have missed something and want to know if there is a DS game that is either currently considered "rare" or on the way of becoming a game that won't be easy to find in the future.

Someone? Anyone? This thread will not die unless it gets locked up for some reason. Name a DS title, I'd like to know if I have it.

Don't worry man, you are not talking to yourself. I always read this thread and think you have some really cool finds, keep them coming man. I just usually don't have too much to add to the conversation since my DS collecting knowledge is pretty limited. I would like to request a few pics of your entire collection one of these days though :) Bet it looks pretty cool

I'm also reading this thread but don't usually reply as I'm too green with envy at some of the bloody cheap scores, well done.

The way you are going you'll have to change your name to SpendTooMuchOnNintendo!

Pics? Excellent Idea! Thanks a lot for the support Crazy Climber! Either my camera isn't the best or perhaps it's me who is coming up short but my pics never turn out as good as I'd like them to. Anyway, here are three pics of my DS collection:

Thanks to you also AussieAtari, you posted your comment while I was taking my photos so I didn't see it until just now. You are right though, I don't have much in the way of Atari anymore although my love and fascination for everything Atari will never end.

I certainly am SpendTooMuchOnNintendo now. I don't have any intention of or even want to think of selling my collection but I sometimes can't help to think what it would be worth. Sometimes I think, even if they are $10 each, I have $2000 here.....just on DS!

I'm clearly a nut. :dunce:

Very, very nice indeed.

Is that a nice GameCube collection I spy on the shelf below?

Yeah, it's a start. I have slowly been picking them up as I find them. It's my runner-up collection to my DS so when I'm not spending my cash on DS, it's probably going to a new GC title.

Currently at 36 GameCube titles.

I also have a fairly nice PS1 and PS2 collection in addition to a small Wii collection of 13 titles and that about does it for now. My latest addition to my collection is an original "black label" Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night for the PS1 in nice condition which I found at a local shop for $25. Certainly not a steal but not too bad either.

I would love to add to my GC collection, but with the arrival of the Wii and the major stores clearing out of GC titles, there just do not seem to be too many good buys for PAL GC games at the moment.

I'm going to leave it for a while and wait until eBay starts to fill up with GC titles once all the Wii players have finished with them.

My last good GC purchases were Donkey Konga and Jungle Beat, both with bongos and both half price.

She Who Must Be Obeyed has recently decided to start to collect all "Mario" games for the GC and DS so that should keep the collection humming along nicely. I'm concentrating on hardware stuff at the moment.

I love demos. We have Kirby Canvas curse, Wario Ware Touched, Pac Pics, Nintendogs, Nintendogs Relay, Download Station Vol.1, Feel The Magic, Polarium, Metroid Prime Pinball, Advance Wars Dual Strike and Meteos. Best way to find out if it's worth buying the full versions.:)

Sorry Pics are blurry but you can probably tell what they are.
