I'll own a Wii someday, I'm sure. We end up getting every game system, to at least give it a try. But I doubt that I will ever play a game that involves me swinging my arms around. Way too uncoordinated for that, although Starscream would probably be highly entertained.

besides Wii sports and maybe Rayman, most of the games dont make you swing around looking like an idiot, simple wrist flicks work just fine. although you may notice you get lost in the game and realize yoru moving around like a wild monkey with rabies... thast always fun to notice.

It's not that bad. Out of all the Wii sports game bowling is the only one I stand up for. Golf I lay on my side and flick my wrist. Boxing I sit up straight. At best I might look like I'm have convulsions.

Probably the only thing I don't like is, depending on what game your playing, letting your wrist go limp (aka relaxing) is not always a good idea.

People.. including atarifever need to learn that people here really LIKE fucking with people here.. not to be mean, but just cuase honestly, we all do get a little too serious around here. this is a means of fun, not a heart attack. i remember when i first joined i was like you, i got pissed off at a lot of people all the time, as im very opinionated and very proud of that. in fact i still like to be honest and tell people that they are shit if i think they are. haha.. but i soon learned that it doesnt matter. do i hoenstly care if people like gabriel buy a wii or not.. no. and im very happy that at least hes supporting out industry so it stays alive. you have to buy and uspport what makes YOU happy, not other people, and be proud of that, while making sure you dont flip out. being a nintendo fan is hard, i know.. trust me.. been a fan of the company since the nes days (minus some time when i became a rebel and went all sony till the ps2 proved to me how much i felt like i was getting reamed by that company). but suck up the shit, take a joke and just luagh it off. star scream is a son of a bitch, but a cool one. hes the type that you want to kcik in the nuts but you know hes just talkin shit to make you laugh, my roomate is the same way. just make sure you dont jump to conclusions about poeple, and you have fun and dont take this stuff too seriously.. its something i think many people have to learn. thank you guitarmas for teaching me that back then, wheevre you are... ya douchebag LOL

Just wanted to put this thread back on target as it were. I don't own excitetruck (yet), but so far my vote now goes to Sonic and Secret Rings for best looking Wii game thus far!

The surf effects on the Pirate Storm level plus all the action that is going on at once with nary any slowdown?! I pretty dang sure the cube couldn't pull this off...

i agree, excite truck is great, and it is very nice looking (esp the water), but sonic has it beat even in the water hands down. and yea, i love that level , isnt it just awesome.
