I was curious if many Mii's are showing up in your Mii parades? I have 15 marching around, as of last night. How does that compare to your parades?

This is kind of a cool feature. It's interesting to see these things show up. It's kind of like mice that move in to your game console. There could be some cool things eventually that involve Mii's.

Some of the Mii's that are showing up are pretty cool. I did get a few "questionable" ones show up (such as $2 Whore and a big black guy with an offensive name).

Last night, I was showing 79 Miis in my Mii Parade. I have about 30 that I have sent to my Mii plaza. I also have to express that I don't like the offensive ones myself. I wouldn't mind if they were ONLY in the Mii parade area. But they will show up anyway when playing Wii sports games. Bowling being the most obvious one. I explained to my boys that $2 whore was just some ugly dude. And of course, I didn't tell them his name. They can't quite read these names yet...so for now that seems to have satisfied their curiosity.

I do wish that the creators would think more about the public when making these so we wouldn't have these quenstionable ones show up.

I haven't seen any offensive ones myself (Been awhile since I've booted up my Wii), but I was under the impression the Mii's should only show up in your game if you have them in you plaza. Is that not right?

We must be talking about "Big Nig" I see him in my parade too.
Miis will only show up in your games if they are in your plaza, that's right. You can grab guys from parade though and transfer them over. I've never really found anyone in parade worth keeping though

Not true...I know for a FACT that I don't have $2 whore in my plaza..and yet that Mii in addition to the Big Nig one have both shown up in Wii sports games before.

They aren't selectable per se..but show up in the backgrounds...or as the case with $2 whore yesterday, he/she was showing up in the bowling lane next to me and was seen when it was their turn to bowl.

Also the Charlie Brown one that I find to be pretty weak, shows up alot in Wii sports as a background Mii. Yet, I don't have him in my plaza either.

Wow I had no idea...That doesnt even make sense why they would do that like that.
Are they at least in your parade? If so maybe you could delete them altogether.

Yes..they are all in the parade...hence why I have over 70 Miis in the parade. Basically anything in the parade will also show up in Wii sports at least. I haven't noticed any of the parade Miis in Wario Ware...

I have delted Miis in the Parade before...but then they just come back a few days later. They are set to mingle, so they will always be wandering around...you can't really delete them for good from your Wii console.

The only Miis you can control really are the ones you place into the plaza. Even then, you can still only edit the ones that you create.

Jeeze that seems lame. For a company that stresses kid friendly this seems like a bad oversight.

I have seen some Mii's that I found amusing and kept. I thought Spock was great and Elvis was pretty good. I grabbed Jay Leno even though he wasn't that impressive. I haven't really seen any offensive Mii's.

Isn't there a way to not allow minglers to come into your Parade? I seem to recall thinking there was.

If there isn't there ought to be I'd think.

Personally I could care less....I'd probably laugh at em. Realistically I guess it's not so bad if they are just in the audience. I mean you can see the name unless they like say come up to bat. There shouldn't be a Mii a person could create that was offensive I wouldn't think...other that the name.

I only have three mii's in my parade. :?

I'm wondering if other Wii owners have to be online when your Wii is connected in order for them to show. I've only been hooking it up to play when the family is not around.

Still hiding it for a birthday. I was hoping to have more mii's by then. :(

As long as you have your Wii connected to the internet and friends in you address book, they should be filtering in. last time I turned on my Wii, after it had been off for more than a week, my Parade shot up from like 12 to like 40

I think if you're only connecting intermittently you won't pick up too many Miis. I was also under the impression that the Wii doesn't go online while you're playing games. I normally get a popup message from my Wifi connector everytime the Wii jumps online, and I don't recall seeing the popup during the times my Wife was playing Zelda and I was on the internet. I could be wrong though.

I only have the Wii connected to the internet between about 4pm and 11pm on weekdays (I refuse to leave my PC on all the time) and I've still picked up almost 70 Miis since I got my Wii a month ago.

Odd... Well only a handful of people have added me to their friends list (maybe 7)?

My Wii is usually on between 12:00am and 6:00am when I am playing Zelda. If I have some other things to do/take care of, then I turn the Wii on and leave it at the main menu while I'm doing so.

Maybe the Wii only does it's Mii thing while in standby?

Mine is off almost always, but I do turn it on occasionally and leave it in standby. That must do the trick, because I've got a big bunch of Mii's wandering around.

Does anyone know for sure if the visiting Mii's in your Mii parade come only from Mii's created by people on your friend list or can they come from anyone as long as both systems are set to mingle?

Only reason I ask is because I have a friend list of 11 people and I have 66 Mii's in my Mii parade. Some are very cleverly made while 8 of them have what I consider racist and/or vulgar names. Not sure where all these Mii's are coming from, as I know that 4 of the people on my friends list haven't created any Mii's at all, so that means that 66 Mii's would have had to have come from 7 friends-list people (if Mii's can only visit you from friends on your list).

Anyone know for sure?

I am pretty sure a network is created that links friends together with their friends friends.
For instance, a lot of the Miis I find in parafe have migrated to my machine via my cousin's Wii, but originated at his friend's Wii, who isn't on my friend list but is on his.
Make sense? :P
