Since the NTSC rarity guide is in desparate need of updating, I thought it may be worthwhile listing out what are the 'real' R8s in NTSC format (we have the PAL rarity guide for PAL titles). I'll update this list based upon the responses I get to this thread. This should hopefully give us an understanding of what the true R8s that most people agree are the R8s. I dont expect that we will reach total agreement on all titles and don't want to get into the boxed/unboxed debate - lets stick to loose titles. I'll start a similar thread for R10s and R9s.

Oops my mistake. No I meant to have Mr. Do!s Castle as only a rarity 7.

OK, in that case I hate you.

Just kidding!

Mr. Do!'s Castle is the rarest cart and only R8 I own, so I would be sad if it is demoted. I have 3 other R7s: Polaris (green end label), Tomarc the Barbarian, and Up 'n Down.

Party mix a rarity 8!? Seven, maybe. Definitely not as rare as Sword of Saros and Survival Island, and those are R8.

Old thread, though...some of these have probably changed even more.

The official list is in the first post and Party Mix is not an 8 there . You must be looking at some of the suggestions further down.

I was. That's why I had to scratch my head when someone suggested Party Mix be moved up to an 8. gotta see what it's currently at.
