Beachhead on the C64 was a blast! This looks very interesting. Is there an image or ISO floating around for this (one that could be burned to a CD for play on a modded PS1)?

Hmm... I'm gonna have to hunt around for this one.

Fun fact... Access, the folks who created Beach Head, remained independent until their acquisition by Microsoft in 1999. They were eventually passed off to Take-Two Software and renamed Indie Built until its closure in 2006.

I seem to recall this game being utter crap when it was released for the PC. 'Deer Hunter Normandy' type of thing. Didn't even hold a candle to the gameplay on the 'ole A8 version.

And again IIRC, it was mildly entertaining for a few minutes in an arcade helmet mount 3D game.

The only version I ve seen around is in the hands of the Playstationmuseum.com
