The mayhem just doesn't end! But put away your ninja stars and get out the heavy weapons - it's time for Ikari Warriors!

Controlling the tank is very important in this game. It can carry you a long ways in the first stage before you have to exit because of water. There are enough gas cans along the way that you won't run empty if you keep picking them up. The hardest enemies I think are the ones who pursue you tossing grenades - they need to be killed quickly.

If your tank gets hit you can exit by holding A and tapping B (or vice versa), at least in theory. For whatever reason it doesn't always work.

It's difficult to hit enemies with the gun. Grenades are often helpful, and you have a huge number of them so don't hesitate to toss them around. Upgraded grenades (The "B" pickup) are very nice and can kill lots of enemies at once. You lose them when you die, which makes it even harder to keep the next guy from dying in the same spot.

I know this is a first-gen NES title, but this could've been a lot better.

Yeah. I remember renting this and thinking that it was horrible - so sloooooooooow.

Guerilla War is far, far better, as is Jackal.

I always enjoyed this game, but it's more fun with the continue cheat. Sadly I don't have my old cart anymore. This game has the most complex stage select code I've ever seen. It was printed once in Nintendo Power, and after several tries I did get it to work one time, but it's unbelievably hard to enter.

I made it to the water thanks to a tank, but lost my lives pretty quickly after that. The water section is pretty difficult, especially with the guys diving underwater all the time. There is a helicopter in that section which I managed to get, but I didn't keep it very long.

Thanks for confirming, I was starting to wonder wether it's my fault. This really sucks!
