I've just realised that the eclipse logo is very similar to the one used by Digital Eclipse:

It's been over three months later, but I picked a winner:

Here's an improved blue-background version for you:
I've preserved the anti-aliasing, and made the image a bit taller so the graphic is vertically centered better.
