Does anyone remember "TV Gamer" mag? I've been trying to track down any recorded images and have so far turned up nothing - not a sausage

I'd really appreciate it if anyone finds any links related to this magazine 8)

I found it using Google. I've never personally seen the magazine however.

NE146 - You truly are a Guru 8) :D Thanks man, this is fantastic!! Very much appreciated.

I used to have nearly all of these mags but (being about 11 years old) sold them off for 10p a shot  Oh the folly of youth!

They do crop up on Ebay UK sometimes, but I've seen issues go for 20-30 quid each!

Nice link JobF. At least that guy had the balls to scan some of the issues in in full. Gotta love that :)

Seriously though, thanks guys! Well do I remember (was I really only 11!) how I was TOTALLY convinced that I would regularly save the princely sum of £30 to buy carts from Silica Shop.

Nice to flick through copies of this magazine again, I've bookmarked Chris's site - Cheers Steve!

That is a great magazine to get nostalgic with! I always love looking at the old ads to see the marketing presentations and the prices that the consoles went for back then. I know my parents bought me several atari consoles and computers in the early 80's and these ads make me feel almost guility ;)

My absolute favorite scanned page is: http://www.chris-hin...83/t0683p07.jpg

I love it when they have a picture or a tv commericial and the game players are holding the joystick in a position that you couldn't possibly play the game with. Do you think they did that for aesthetics, maybe so the nice red button wouldn't be covered up by a thumb? If not, its funny to think there were a dozen or so people working on a photo shoot who never had played a video game.

Interesting how the mag cover focuses on computers almost exclusively in September 1985...

Here are the links to the Arcade of the 90s article, which is amusing:
