Similar to MS's Achievements on the 360, I know these were mentioned before the PS3 was released...but then Sony denied they were ever in the works. Then I thought I read that they were in fact coming. Does anyone have the story on this? Does the PS3 have a points system and if so how does it work?

I have no idea if they will create an acheivements type system which IMO is pretty cool.
I've read some magazines and none can say that Sony has talked about it.
No point system either but some games have their own achievements built in like Resistance: Fall of Man.
