Yes, its a Lynx Flash Card.
USB, 115200Baud, 512K Flash, compatible to Lynx I and II, 93C46 for High Scores (up/download via USB)
And its 100% made by the Lynxman.
The Hardware is 98% finished. The Software around 80%. I have to add a Bootloader for Firmware update.
The Card is controlled by a µCom.
It is (of cause) possible to load all kind of games, 128/256/512K.

Da auch ich in Deutschland wohne,könnte ich für dich Tester spielen.Abgesehen davon kannst du mich auf die Liste der Besteller setzen, denn ich will auch so ein Teil.

Flashcard- stores one game at a time playable till you power off?
mostly used for dev stuff.
OR
can i store lots of lynx games on there at once, like a multicart?
that's what I'd really like!! a lynx multi cart with tons of room!
maybe SD card support.... Imagine tons of lynx games on
one 1GB sd card!
sweet!

I agree with the sentiment though - a multi-cart would be soooo cool!

You're right, i didn't do the math. What's the biggest lynx game size about a half a meg?
Maybe the multi cart could have a picture viewer and mod player built into it to use all
that extra space!

Hi Lynxman,
I think it looks great!
You've made a pretty cool PCB too, I wish I had the tools to do that. Did you use a thick PCB?
Do you use the comlynx to upload games to it?
Roland.

Nice to see some new Lynx hardware. This won't fit in a Lynx I as the xtal is probably too high.
But I like the idea of USB. This is probably much faster to use for developers than my cart.
What worries me is that the software is 80% finished. Usually you finish 80% in 20% of the time and doing the last 20% takes 80% of the time.

No.
You can insert and remove, but you should be very carefulcause you don“t have to open the door complete. You only have to open around 30-45°.
Please see attached pic. 2-3mm free space.
I do not recommend for use in Lynx I. But it is possible.

No, the 20% are "only" the Bootloader for Firmeware update. The "System-Software" workes fine.
You don“t need the Bootloader for upload Games.
Kind Regards Bernd
