HERE IS THE ARTICLE

Short version..... Unreal Tournament III will be available for the PS3 on Dec. 10th in "Limited" quanities. Article doesn't say why, only that a *few* PS3 owners will be able to enjoy the game in time for Christmas.

Hmmm.... wonder why only limited quanities will be available? How long does it take to press and ship a title?

Probably because they didn't originally plan for it to come out this year (as the article states). Obviously having it in time for Christmas is a huge revenue boost, and as it just recently went gold, they're cutting the first run short to capitalize on the holidays.

Tempting. But I kinda stopped liking Unreal Tournament after the first one and when it got "consolized".

Weeks, they cut it too close and probably are only getting one run.

The game looks incredible for sure.
After so many decent frag fest this generation (Quake 4, Prey, Halo 3, etc...etc...) Even as sweet looking as it is, can't say I'm too excited about it.
