I got Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, and that little keyboard thingy (sheesh... c'mon coffee!! Kick in and get the memory working so I can remember its name) that attaches to the controller. Gonna be awhile before I break open the games, though, as I have Mass Effect, Overlord, and Stranglehold to finish.

For the 360 I got Mass Effect, Viva Pinata, Rock Band, Scene It, Star Wars TCS, and a bunch of gamestop giftcards. The only non 360 game I got was Super Mario Galaxy (and the Atari stuff I bought for myself from the AA store).

I got two of those rocker chairs you plug into an audio jack and listen to iPo-- I mean Zune with.
I think they are also meant to be used with consoles, but I'll have to think about how to send audio to the TV and the chairs at the same time.

Got the system (the white box package with Forza 2 and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, along with Sonic the Hedgehog (a little extra game from the bargain bin).

But I have a question, now that I have one. Is there any way to back up data from the hdd to a PC (or anything else)? See, I'd like to back up all the freebie demos, videos, and stuff like that which came with the system to free up a bit of space on the hdd.

Some of the stuff I don't think I'll ever have need of, but just in case I'd like to have them archived somewhere so I can import it back onto the hdd if I need to. As I understand it from the book, if you clear the hdd, there's no way to get anything back (I'm assuming these demos, movies and things aren't re-downloadable).

Call of Duty 4 & a blue wireless controller. I also received a $25 gift card from Gamestop. Now I just need to figure out what to get with that. I wanted Rock Band, so I suppose I should start saving my pennies.

They are re-downloadable. They are archived on the site, if you delete something and later on you want it again, just go back to the marketplace and snag it.

Ah, I see. Well then that makes a bit of difference. Of course, I still have the problem of being on dialup (in spite of having a router that I could connect to XBL with). On the other hand, I'm a patient man, so that's not too big a deal.

Thanks. :D

I got... Halo 3.

Obviously the hints of Battlestations Midway and Ninety Nine Nights were much too subtle. Next time I'll try 50 foot tall neon letters.

I didn't get any games. But since I'm the dad, I don't need to! ;)

I did go out this morning to take advantage of Gamestops buy 2 get one free sale. I picked up Eternal Sonata, Gears Of War and Clive Barker's Jericho. But right now I'm playing Portal on my son's copy of The Orange Box! :D

I went out today and grabbed the HD-DVD add on and a few movies as well with some of the cash and gift cards I got. Pretty cool. I'm enjoying it so far.

Nothing as a gift, but I bought myself Bioshock from eBay the week before Christmas, and bought Stranglehold from a friend of mine. I bought Space Giraffe just before Xmas, too, so perhaps that counts. My only gaming gift was RE: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii.

I rarely ever get games for christmas, as I useually buy what I want when I want it (if I can find it)

So it surprised me to get two X0bos game for christmass. one was Vive Pinate or something like that. I was just thinking, "eh...another pokemon game,. I'm so sick of those." But havent' gotten around to exchanging it though. Course it's the thought that counts anyways so.... The other was Project Gotha m3. I loved the first two for X-box, so getting that was really cool, I"ve been playing that a lot lately.

I also get a nifty box to let me play with various console controllers on the PC, though with no controller support (or half assed at best) on most computer games anyways, I don't see that that will help me any.

I agree Viva Piņata is one of the best games on the 360. Whoever says the only good games on the 360 are FPS haven't played Viva. It's AWESOMELY addictive and blows away any "kiddie" game I've played on the other systems. ;)

I wouldn't exchange that game for anything. It has a retail price of $19.99 so you'd be lucky to get $2.00 for it. Believe me you'll get you're $2 worth if you keep it. I probably invested 60-70 hours in that game and who knows you might also Video.

I picked up Viva and gave it to my wife for Xmas. We haven't played it yet due to also getting Rock Band and Scene It (as well as the fact that Mass Effect is all I play right now solo).

Actually, Friday I was at gameXchange and was going to trade it for something and I was just standing in line looking at it and was like "?! is that a little shiny gold R?" Yeah, I know it's cool to diss rare, since Nintendo no longer owns them, but I'me one of the few freeks that actually likes them still. So I kept it, and played it...and played it...and played it...and am still playing it like a crack addict.

Wow, that was a fun game, and I was going to sell it cause it just looks (and sounds) stupid. If it wasn't for that Rare logo, I probably wouldn't have ever known.

I got a 1600 points card and a sealed copy of Fatal Frame (Original Xbox, but its supported I believe by the 360's emulator). And spent part of a gift card to buy the messenger keypad.

Also got some Wii stuff and a WaveBird for my Wii.
