A few of the play testers have mentioned that it is difficult to navigate the maze with an Atari joystick. If somehow an enemy can be added the the mazes can be opened up.
I was happy getting the additional cartridges and the boss movement. If you can work out a way to improve the Boss level that would be great.

My idea for maze enemies was to add one that can't move through walls, and one that can. The one that can't has "seek and destroy" AI, whereas the one that can (move through walls) only chases you if you are close to it. To make that interesting, I changed the joystick code so that tapping fire stops your ship and holding fire doubles your speed. All that together requires 8 variables.
If using those variables for those purposes would be ok, then they could easily be repurposed on the boss screen to create AI that changes with each level. Or, if nothing else it might be cool if the boss flipped random playfield pixels wherever it moved - then slow the players movement when they are touching playfield pixels.
Is this your very first bB project? If so it's one of the best first attempts yet. If you decide to make any of your future projects a group effort though, you should document who did what and when.
