recoil
I was wondering if this plastic case was an official Atari product, as i haven't been able to find it in the catalogue. Also are they a common thing you see. Edited January 19, 2008 by recoil

Jek
Just incase you wanted to see what the box that the carrying case comes in looks like recoil. I love the one, but it is a good example for an unready Atari product This case lacks in the fact, that if you carry this cool product, the logo stands upside down... see the pic: http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j74/recoilrecoil/1n2.jpg and imagine running around with the case, trying to look cool... wow.... Prodos8
These must have been made later in the 2600's life cycle as they're always pictured with a vader system. Whenever I'd take mine somewhere, as a kid, I usually just carried the 2600 loose and used a brown grocery sack for the games & accessories. thomasholzer
I used to have one of those, and it's a copy of the Magnavox Odyssey 1972 carry case (also notice the upside down label) Edited January 21, 2008 by thomasholzer
Trade-N-Games
I got mine about 8 years ago from an Atari employee and it was gift at a company thing and inside was a new vader system. I still have it just like i got it. I did not get the outer box.

What I dig is the picture with the cool red station wagoon that the white bread family are getting into on the back of the box.
Prodos8
They always show mom & dad sitting around watching junior play while enjoying themselves. I don't know what dimension this happened in, but I was lucky to get time in on the main TV as my mom hated watching and especially listening to me playing Atari. Either I didn't play or moved to my room and used a 13" B&W TV with the sound way down.
ATARIPITBULL
I know what you mean! if I played something like Yar's Revenge for more than an hour, my dad would rip the power cord out the wall and yell at me to go do something else. Mats90245
I got mine about 8 years ago from an Atari employee and it was gift at a company thing and inside was a new vader system. I still have it just like i got it. I did not get the outer box. I have one thats unopened. Youre saying this box has the case AND a system? I dont think so. But Im the guy responding to a nearly 10 year old post, so what do I know?
Video
I'm sure they meant they got it as a used gift/purchase.
