I know that the game wasn't really made for the 5200, but are the props/mock ups from the movie still around? Was anything from the movie salvaged by either one of its stars or producers? Perhaps one of the helpers on the set nabbed himself a copy of "Cloak and Dagger." Maybe the director Richard Franklin has something. Anybody ever really look into this? I'd imagine that out on the open market that this would fetch a pretty decent haul financially. What collector wouldn't want to have the game from the movie? What info do we have on this?

Sorry, I looked at that site, but I only looked under the 5200 and the rumor mill. Too bad there isn't any of the movies mock ups floating around somewhere.

I filmed this at CGE of Dave talking about Cloak and Dagger 5200. Never heard from him again. Anyone know the status of the project? Great label on the thread. When the game comes out, It MUST have the label or it would kill the illusion, knowhutimean?
Also, it would be worth extra money, although not as necessary, to have an extra chip with an easter egg video of the secret plane plans. It would complete the thing, though. And last thought, to get one copy to Henry Thomas! He'd get a kick out of that!

Wargames the 25th anniversary was on recently at major theatres. nice! Similar to Cloak and Dagger, but the only game I know of is the colecovision and I think C-64 for Wargames.

now heres something interesting this is from wikipedia
"The game was under development using the title Agent X when the movie producers and Atari learned of each others' projects and decided to cooperate. When Atari was consulted to provide a game as an element of the movie, they tweaked Agent X and renamed it Cloak & Dagger. Dabney Coleman's character was then named "Agent X" in the movie"
and heres something even more interesting
"The game saw limited arcade release. The arcade version of Cloak & Dagger appeared in 1983 prior to the release of the film. The Cloak & Dagger game screens from the movie are mostly from the arcade version, and not the Atari 5200 game console as it would appear in the film. Although an 5200 version of the game was planned, it never was released due to the video game crash of 1983 and eventual sale of Atari. Because the Atari 5200 version of Cloak & Dagger wasn't complete during filming, the cartridge props are actually other 5200 games with a Cloak & Dagger label stuck on them"

just thought i could give some more info on it
