You're either going WAY TOO FAST or WAY TOO SLOW....take your pick. Either way, it's a catch 22.

I've also always found the boat scene very tough! I think because some of the objects (reefs?) are stationary so they come at you very fast - and I think the boat reacts a little slower than the car.

But I think only a specific path will take you to the water; you can avoid it completely (and indefinitely) if you want. ;)

True, but if the reefs don't get me, the tire slashers on the road do.

I didn't expect to do very well, but on my 3rd try I suddenly did way better. I think the key is to figure out which paths will give you the oil slick. After I was left with missiles and smoke it was harder to survive.

It got more exciting when my power went out at 40k, creating a race against my UPS battery. Luckily the power came back. :)
