Well, I ordered a white Dual Shock 3 from NCSX on Monday and it arrived Thursday and I must say I'm very, very pleased with my purchase.

After 6 hours of play on it, its still showing a full charge within so the battery life is good. The additional weight of the DS3 makes it comparible to a Xbox360 controller and after a few minutes of play with it, I really don't notice any difference between it and the Six Axis. And its really, really nice to feel the rumble while playing Uncharted, Ratchet, and Turok.... I never realized how much it added to a game until I went without it by using the Six Axis.

While I paid $15 more for it vs. buying a regular Six Axis, I feel it was money well spent as I'm really enjoying it.

Anyone else buy a DS3?

I plan to, but I'm having fun with Rock Band at the moment.

I have 2. They're great! The sixaxis never felt right with it's light weight and no rumble. I bought my 2 from this seller on 2 different occasions for $65 shipped a piece. Each time they got to me within 3 days of me paying.

So... Does it still have the motion controls? Do the older PS3 launch games have rumble support in them? Hmm...

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the one that jumps out at me that doesn't support rumble. I hope they patch that, but I'm not holding my breath. Here's a complete list.

So I take it they have not "Officially" made their way over here to the US?

Not yet. They were released in November in Japan and expected to be out in the spring for the US and Europe.

When I picked up the PS3, I was all set to import one of the Dual Shock 3 controllers, but I've really grown to prefer the lighter, non-rumble Six-axis.
I find rumble generally pulls my attention away from the game rather than enhancing the experience.

I picked one up as well. It feels much better in my hands with the extra weight to it, and my rumble is finally back!

I don't like the non-rumble six Axis. It always feels like it's gonna fly out of my hands.
