Wow.... just Wow....

And along the lines of being screwed over, another dissatisfied game talks about his problems RIGHT HERE. Love the part where MS confuses "I want my saved games back" with "I want a free memory card"..... sigh.....

If he had any reservations in the first place (and it sounded like he did), then he was taking a chance by sending the console in for repair. I would have retired the broken unit and bought a new one if I was that concerned with the possible loss of something irreplaceable.

He's implying that you can't put a price tag on all the sigs/artwork, but was too cheap to buy another console to avoid keeping this from happening in the first place - sour grapes for him!

While this is certainly sad it's just what happens when you end up dealing with 20 different people in a large corporation. I tend to agree with rsiddall. He should have bought another console if he wanted to keep the artwork. It really sucks but it's just the reality of dealing with any large corporation.
