Man I hope this game isn't going to be another turkey that looks better than it plays.
I'm afraid it will be tied more closely to the movie than the original character.

Ok, maybe not *that* original, yet if you look at the screenshots... that's exactly what the first one is like.
Others are more familiar looking to those of use that are younger than the comic.

BTW, what year was that anyway? Hmmm... guess I'll have to check the wicki.

Ack! March 1963... BARELY older than I am.

I guess I should have placed this thread out a level since the game is supposed to be available for the Wii and PS3 as well.

I think it it would be cool if you could somehow unlock the various different suit Iron Man has worn over the past few decades since his creation.

Dude, pingvin....that issue is classic!!!

I like circa 1985 Iron Man.....before he got overly gadgetry and while he was still a raging alcoholic. War Machine is another favorite character of mine. I liked him more than Iron Man for a long time.

I can't speak for the videogame, but the movie itself looks kick ass.
They could make a kick-ass videogame to go with it. However we all know it's rarely the case.

Except with The Punisher.....although I don't know if that game came out to coincide with the movie.

I'm not a fan of the main actor but I think the movie should be pretty decent.

But hey, even if the game's not great... it has to be better than Aquaman!
Oh... right... that's not saying much is it.

I wouldn't be too surprised if a few elements popped-up from the comics that haven't been in the movie. The director, John Favreau, it actually writing a comic mini-series that goes a bit deeper than the movie alone, incorporating more of the character's history. I wouldn't be surprised if that's done here as well (as it was also done with the Spiderman movie games).

As for the Punisher game, that seemed to be tied much more closely to the comic, although there are some characters from the movie (The Russian), and the Punisher is still voiced by Thomas Jane.
