sushiballz
hello, i was just wondering what the deal is with my copy of MC3D. i can play classic, and virtual fine. i can run the game demo fine. either mode, everything can run for hours, but as soon as i play the "3D" portion. the game will freeze. every time. i have never gotten past the 1st wave. is this strange or what? because if the game was broken, wouldnt everything be broken? and the game was brand new. sealed when i got it. i cleaned my system, and i never had this problem with any other game. anyone know anything about this game? or is it just .. dead. thanks

Don't know exactly if it is on a K or a M series Jaguar but I have heard of other games that do this too. I think one of them was Zero 5. Do you have another Jag to test it? doctorclu
Missile Command, my copy, is just about buggy to the point of being unplayable.
PeterG
Missile Command, my copy, is just about buggy to the point of being unplayable. Must be the different Jaguar models. i don't think they made different series of the game and it runs flawless on my Jag.
sushiballz
i only have 1 jaguar. and it does it with and without the cd attached. off subject, i won iron soldier 2 on cd for 27 bucks with shipping.. but i dont know yet if its the fake labeled one. it looks plain. black, with text. i did not know there was a weird cd-r version till i won the auction. i thought i won it too cheap, so i immediately thought it was fake. whats the story on this game? and whats better to have, cdr, jag cd or cart? cart seems pointless to me. thanks Edited April 8, 2008 by sushiballz
ZylonBane
off subject, i won iron soldier 2 on cd for 27 bucks with shipping..but i dont know yet if its the fake labeled one. There is nothing "fake" about the sticky-label version of Iron Soldier II. That's what the first production run looked like. Subsequent productions run(s?) used standard printed CDs. I THINK there were two more nicer looking IS II CD's that Carl was offering here on AA a while back. Then there is also the cart version. sushiballz
i didnt mean fake like illegal, or crap... i would just feel better about having a game NOT be a cd-r.. official or not. but i guess thats what i got. i had a cdr of zelda's adventure for cd-i and sold it for 100 bucks. it was an official "test disc" full version, but cd-r. i later found a sealed one at a pawn shop for 30 bucks, and it was a retail version. if i didnt know before i bought IS2 that it would be a cd-r, if i got it retail, i think i would crap my pants, and get pissed. thanks Edited April 9, 2008 by sushiballz
rexreed
Missile Command, my copy, is just about buggy to the point of being unplayable. Must be the different Jaguar models. i don't think they made different series of the game and it runs flawless on my Jag. I used to have two jags. One I still own and runs fine. The other never would play ANY game that used a 3d polygon. Any of the 2d games were fine. I ended up giving that one away in college... Most strange. Did it play Tempest 2000?
