I've played Cybervirus one time, some years ago, but it (especially the soundeffects) reminded me too much of Battlewheels which is, in my opinion a wonderful game.
It just felt not "different" enough from Battlewheels, but I just had a quick play back then.
I like racing games, and Championship Rally looks cool, but is this game worth the money?
Is here anybody who owns both games, and wants to share his opinion?

I am the publisher of both, so consider that before you read my comments on these games... 
CyberVirus does use the same 3D engine found in the excellent BattleWheels game, and some sound effects are shared as well. The main difference is in the style of game: BattleWheels is a "last man standing" fight, while CyberVirus is a mission-based game. In CyberVirus, each mission is different... you rescue civilians, destroy enemy outposts, retrieve lost weapons or documents, etc.
Champ Rally is a very nice game (and I can say that since I didn't write the code
). If you enjoy overhead racers like RC Pro Am or Power Drive Rally, you will like this game. It is fast and has attractive graphics and f/x, and a ton of variety. For example, there is an ice track which is slippery, a city track where hitting the buildings brings you to a grinding halt, and a "island" track where you can fall off the cliff (resulting in a 3 second delay). You can race against AI cars, multiplayer for 4 Lynxes, or race against yourself in a "ghost" mode. There are powerups, shortcuts, customizable races, and more.

I can recommend both. With the weak US dollar and the strong Euro now is a good time for a purchase.

These two games are still missing in my Lynx collection (among very few others).
Do both come with some sort of box? Are printed instructions or a manual included?

Yesterday, I received Championship rally.
The box is a transparant standard cdholder.
A color printed instruction is included, and looks nice.
The cartridge is a black with a label on it.

Good to know. Where did you get it from? May I ask how much the total cost in Euros were?

I bought a few things together from Songbird Productions, so you better ask him how much shippingcosts are for one game

Here is a link to the Songbird website. I charge a flat USD$18 shipping for all international orders (except Canada, which is USD$12). That means you can order two games or twenty games, the shipping is the same. This helps simply the process on my end, and gives customers an incentive to order more games.
And yes, I'd agree that now is a good time to order some games because of the weak dollar. Don't just buy one, buy them all!

Got Championship Rally today, at last. After one hour of playtime I can say it is a nice addition and a very respectable effort but not an essential. That said, if you enjoy racing games, get it. It´s not as exciting as Cybervirus, if you compare these two, and CV has become an all time Lynx favourite of mine.
I find the Training more interesting than the Tournament since you can customize your racing car and the AI ones, acceleration, max. speed etc., pretty everything, it´s fun to play around with this but you can´t do this in tournament mode.
In my personal Lynx racing game hitlist, it would be
1. Checkered Flag
2. Road Riot (far underrated. I really enjoy this one and it´s only a very close second)
3. Championship Rally (very good quality homebrew, small and not too easy)
4. Roadblasters
5. Hydra (mainly due to the tricky steering, which in this game I have given up to ever manage...)
So if anyone asked me, CV is more a standout title on the Lynx, CR is a very solid homebrew development, have realistic retrogame expectations and you´ll like it
