Ah, the Italian rip-offs.

I believe Rick and Marco own the complete series and I also saw someone selling a couple of these on the net once.

Maybe Tom owns them too.

And look what we got here:

Nice Junior Black too.

How come you only have 8 of them listed on AA? What about Space Tunnel?

Very interesting question.

CVA 202 is indeed missing.

It seems I never found any evidence of that one.

I'll dig for it.

Found this:

http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...st&p=942232

Must be something like: Tunnel Spazio (CVA202)

Does anyone own this one?

Please let me know.

I'll be damned:

The building is owned by Fujifilm Italia:

http://www.fujifilmholdings.com/en/pdf/inv...03_part_014.pdf

Figures.

I have it Rom. I don't have it in front of me but I'll dig it out. In fact I have only ever seen 2, but I'm sure there are more.

Ok, while Dino is searching for his Spazio, what company is next?

Not the best scans, i admit. But it gives you an idea. I will do proper ones for your database soon.

How about Spacevision/Supervision? Or are we not up to the pirate companies yet?

Thanks for the picture, Dino!

The title is added to our database now.

No R10's for Bit Corp. and Fujistyle.

About SpaceVision and Supervision:

I really have no idea how many of each title are floating around.

Perhaps Sandy or Marco can tell us more about that.

What about Puzzy?

Some of these are extremely rare.

Especially the non Canadian PAL ones.

Oh yeah I remember Marco showing me those stickered boxes. :lust:

Rom, why do you have them listed under the box name? I think the sticker on the box is the actual name of the game, no? Is it Mission 3,000 A.D. on the cart or Phantom Tank? Is it Bobby is Going Home on the cart or is it Sea Monster?

In this case, I'm looking at the box only, not the sticker that's on it.

They used these boxes to send away sone NTSC samples, but originally these boxes belonged to the Puzzy PAL versions of the titles that are printed on the box.

Look at GameReset to see them.

Rom, in all respect (and I mean it) I find this to be very confusing. The games are NTSC, but listed under PAL. The actual games are Mission 3,000 A.D. and Bobby is Going Home, but are listed under Phantom Tank and Sea Monster. If I used advance search for an NTSC Bobby is Going Home this will never turn up.

I feel the sticker is the important part, just like an Atlantis II sticker on an Atlantis box.

I can understand you're confused about this, but I think they just grabbed a (different titled) box and put a sticker on it to make clear which NTSC sample game was in it, before sending it away.

It could have been any empty Bit Corp or Puzzy box lying around.

These boxes were originally Puzzy PAL game boxes and they are my only reference at this moment, so I'll leave it like this.

I asked Jens to dig up his sticker-less Puzzy PAL boxes (and their carts) and scan them for me.

As soon as I receive these scans, I'll move the stickered ones to their stickered NTSC sample carts:

http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=18790

http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=19852

which, as you can see, were already correctly listed as NTSC games.

So, what do you think?

R10 for the PAL Puzzy carts?

I must admit I too thought they were NTSC when Marco posted them here years ago. If they are PAL, then they are R10s

Edit: Out of curiosity Marco, where did you pick them up - Europe or the US?

After reading Rom Hunter's post I think what he is saying is the sample carts are NTSC, but he's using the photo's of the boxes of them as fillers for the PAL carts that aren't associated with these sample carts.

Back to Funvision. I have acquired a PAL V-Case Busy Police. I opened it up and found a Funvision chip inside. In the lot was a Dragon Attack that also had a Funvision chip. I would not be surprised if a lot of the Hi-Score/Action Hi-Tech Carts had Funvision chips inside.

The PAL Busy Police is just another link in the long chain of Funvision/2600 Compatible/Zellers/Halley's Comet/K-Tel/Ultravision.

Who else owns one?

BTW I tried uploading a pic of Dragon Attack but this god damn software won't let me. It just stalls indefinitely althought my pic is only 306kB in size and it says the max single upload is 2MB. This really frustrates me.

The perfect words.

Thanks for the V-case info, Omega.

BTW, I found this one on Ebay:

Any idea which game it is?

I made the Puzzy PAL carts R10.
