A true sequel to Viva Pinata?

Its on the way....

http://xbox360.ign.c...2/872717p1.html

I have to say, I loved the first one and kept playing it even after the 100% achievement mark.
I didn't think the title or the cartoon did any good so I'm suprised there is a real sequel (Not just a mini-game spin-off like Party Animals) on the way.
With possible online co-op and confirmed vision camera support, reading through the preview it seems clear this is a bigger, better Viva. I definately will be picking this title up.

I don't know what you like but the Banjo-Kazooie sequel is primarily a racing game, with some platform elements. My son wanted an XBox360 but Rare's decision to not do a true sequel has saved my a lot of money.

I saw a video clip of it on Xbox Live today.

It didn't look like a racing game to me. Just a 3D platformer, but he has the skills to drive and fly.

It's not a racing game.

A quote in reference to the upcoming Banjo-Kazooie game...

It will "utilize something "quite different" and that "hasn't been seen in any game before" while keeping the game a platformer."
Personally I wouldn't ever consider buying a console that costs hunders of dollars on the basis of a single game anyways....but that's me.

Honestly though, I'm more psyched about the new Viva Pinata game, that's why I started a thread about it. ;)
Am I the only one that enjoyed the first Viva Pinata?

I'm interested. I just haven't gotten around to picking it up. I'm mostly afraid the kids will see it.
There goes my free 360 gaming time! See's a future of kids ps2 gathering dust.

I loved the original too (still need to get back to it) and am definitely looking forward to the sequel.
