Well, a month has come and gone since this message was posted and still nothing.

I'll soon be celebrating my 5 month anniversary waiting for my orders.

Ok. I'm getting a little tired of being ignored now. Besides calling you out via the forum, I've sent you two emails - all of which has gone unanswered. Suffice to say I haven't received my orders either. Could you please act like a responsible merchant and talk to your customers, Longhorn? We're now fast approaching half a year since I paid you. Exams or no, that's just not reasonable in my book.

Are the rest of you guys missing your orders too, or am I just being overlooked here?

I've been thinking about 2600 video mods for a while now.

Is L.E. still in business?

I haven't received my most recent order, either (and I only bought four blank circuit boards for the 7800 video mod, which shouldn't take much time at all to slip into an envelope). My e-mails have not been answered.

I ordered the 2600 assembled mod almost exactly three months ago. Paid good money for it when I ordered it, and haven't heard a peep since. I have sent several emails and nothing. My last email, I finally asked for a refund, and still nothing. At this point, I just want my money back, but it seems I'm destined to be ignored forever. It's too bad, too. Seems like this mod is really good.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a reply from LE (and hopefully get a refund for undelivered goods)? Thanks,

Garrett

I also have tried to get hold of him without much success. My mod appears to have problems and asked for advice, but got no reply. I hope he's ok. I chalked up his earlier unresponsiveness to working on finishing his senior year of college. But considering that people have paid good money for this thing, he has a responsibility to respond to people when they contact him, especially since he has people who have been waiting almost half a year for their purchases.

If nothing else, could you put a claim in with paypal? I'm not sure of their TOS tho.

That sucks. I'd like to hear nothing more than L.E. coming back onto the scene and shipping. I guess I waited too long to get a 2600 mod.

Yeah, I looked at a PayPal claim, but I believe I am just past the cutoff time. Crazy, I didn't know I got screwed until it was too late....

Longhorn, at this point I would like a refund (I have gone with another mod). I apologize for asking for this publicly on the forum, but all of my emails via your website have gone unanswered and I am unsure how else to get a response. Please email me to let me know when I can expect a refund. Thanks,

Garrett

Hey Longhorn,

On an unrelated note, I'm still havign issues with my mod. The first is the voltage running through the Svideo line. 3 to 4 volts of current running through the Svideo line concerns me. I'm afraid it may burn out the svideo prot on my tv. The port on my game switch already has died. I'm not sure what caused it, but it was the port the 7800 was plugged into.

I'm also getting serious screen flicker on Dig Dug. It is not consistant, but happens occasionally and intermittantly for a split second or so where the screen flickers it garbage and then back.

This mod had a solder joint issue with one of the chips that I repaired myself. It was on the tiny chip tot he right. I'm not an expert solderer, so I'm not sure if this is where the issue is.

I can provide photos/video if requested, both of my soldering and the screen flicker.

You help would be greatly appreciated. I'll admit that I have no played my atari much in the past 2 months due to concern over the svideo issue. I would liek it resolved.

Thanks!

Hi Garrett.

If it's not a custom job you're having made special, could I persuade you to disclose a link to the other mod? After five and a half months I've just about had enough of excuses, so maybe I want to go that route too.

Kind regards,

- Anders

I bought a couple of 5200 mods from this guy. Either he is the 8-bit domain guy, or he bought out the 8-bit domain guy. Either way, still lives up to the 8bit domain reputation for service.

I spent $44.50 x 2 plus $6.00 x 2 = $101 with him. I waited 10 days and neither saw the package, nor heard anything. I finally emailed him (being friendly, not an ass) and he didn't reply. The next day I saw a USPS tracking number, and it didn't work. The day after that, it did work so emailed him (via Ebay messaging) that I had noticed it was working and gave him a disingenuous "Thanks!" pretending to still be happy....IN CASE I WANT TO BUY SOMETHING FROM HIM......but I was really kind of pissed because this is EBAY, where when I am the seller, I'm terrified of negative feedback and I assume everyone else should be too. I was really wanting a note from him, a mild apology, a reassurance, a "oops, I forgot but it's on its way now" and not ass-kissing or ball-caressing. Not so much as a peep from the guy. Just 2 seconds of "it's on the way" with no apology would have been fine. So this guy doesn't give a shit about $100 Ebay order. I left neutral feedback because I gave him ample opportunity to leave a msg by simply hitting "reply." I decided I didn't care if he blocked me and left the feedback, so I assume he did. I don't care; must be an ass to run Ebay sales like that. I'd rather have the Longhorn mod, but he doesn't have one for the 5200. If I can't get a Longhorn mod for the 2600 when I'm ready (hope to later) then I'll either be forced to try to deal with the prick again, make do with RF, or buy a used modded 2600.

He charged me $12.00 shipping when the postage on the box was $2.87, for this great service.

[The 5200 is actually going to be jury-rigged into a 400 btw since nobody bothered to make one for it]
