I'll have to give it some more time. I actually have the card, but no instructions, so I didn't know about jumping on the knives and whatnot until later when I looked up the directions on another site!

Does anyone mind if I extend this game and make it two weeks?

I've been swamped and busy as hell....and probably will be until the end of December.

With two weeks, I'll be able to actually get a game in because I LOVE this game.
Plus it'll give me time to set up the next game.

Everyone bashes this game, but I really loved it back in the day, and played it a LOT. Sadly I no longer own it and haven't gotten around to reacquiring it. Just wanted to show up and give the game some love. ;)

I don't know why people bash it either. That's always puzzled me. :?

It's one of the best Master System games, IMHO.

It's barely possible to get past the first level if you time your jump kicks and elbow punches right, but that's only if you have the patience and nerve for this game. At least the NES version was playable. The Atari 7800 version felt like the Atari 2600 version with enhanced graphics and two button control, but it's still not easy.
Really? I can get to mission 3 by myself and with my brother I can get to the last level (although I've never beaten the game). The 2600 version is hard but it isn't as hard as the NES DD3.

This game will end in another week because I'm swamped, and I'm sick as a dog, and it's still semi-crazy around here because of the holidays.

Now where's my Benadryl and Aleve......

Anyone interested in a little competition regarding Space Harrier?

I already scored a little over 3.000.000 in my best game yesterday and I'm trying to beat level 3 tonight.

For a special rule: Using autofire is allowed! :)

Shit!

I doubt I'll get THAT high!!! But let's officially make this the new SMS game for this month. As you can see.....I've had problems around the house that have kept me from updating and starting new games....so I've been REAL lax around here. :( Sorry about that.

Yeah, not much interest here in SMS gaming unfortunately. Maybe try another challenge next month :)

Ok, here's my second try offering a SMS challenge. Anyone interested in a little competition regarding Wonder Boy?

My first score would be 119.780, Game Over in the second round of Area 3 :)

I suck at Wonder Boy. I got game over at the third area of level 1! Got around 25,000 or so points. I might give it another go later.

I needed to organize the HSC now that I am moderating it, but did not want to delete any of the previous rounds, so they will all be lumped here if anybody wanted to still view them.

Thanks.
