Wow thanks. I liked this general design as I used it in the climber 5 label contest and carried it over.

I think my end label is rather cool, but I think Dan Monceaux has the best front label. The font is very 'TRON' what's it called?

Thanks for the compliment, Paul!

The Tron look comes from the use of polygons of flat colours i guess. I actually designed the ship and other characters by importing the sprites themselves into flash, then manipulating the original pixels... so it makes for a aithful extension of the in-game artwork.

Great range of interpretations as always in the comp... keep the entries coming!

i don't know where this Tanner Walters fellow came from, but IMO his 1st and 6th entries are the best ones out of the entire bunch. that silver one is breathtaking, and the latter is just bad ass.

This is more of a label concept than an actual entry. I encourage others to make this basic idea look pretty (or just elements of the idea) and turn it into a real entry If you do, you can take the credit for it.

I have extended the contest a week until next Sunday, October 12th at 11:59PM EST. I originally intended the contest to run for three weeks, but had setup the contest pages a week or so in advance and forgot to change the date when I started the contest. So if you were thinking of a design and hadn't submitted an entry yet, or you've already sent in a label (or labels!) and still have some ideas left in you, now you have a bit more time to do so.
