Greetings,
Hope this is the right place to post this.
I recently went to a Goodwill here where I live and left with 4 Jakks TV mini games: Atari hits, MsPacman, Pacman arcade hits, and Frogger.
Got them all for $8.00.
They all are pretty much brand new and work great except the Frogger game. Seems while playing the Up movement on the joystick is a bit unresponsive at times.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to dissasemble the game to clean contacts, or know of a website/forums that deal with the Jakks Pacific games.
The bottom of the Frogger game doesn't appear to have any screws.

is it the joypad or the joystick?
the frogger joystick is majestico not jakks.
From memory you have to remove the rubber pads from the bottom (one in each corner) that will give you access to the screws.
Inside there are carbon dot contacts, maybe one of these has moved and needs re-positioning.
It's not a bad game, but I converted mine into a 2600 joystick

It's the joystick type by majesco.
I dissasembled it and cleaned the contacts.
It works but the up movement on the joystick doesn't work at all, but if I press one of the black buttons it works for the up movement.
Is this how the game is set up?
Do you happen to have the Instructions for this game?
Just wondering if the joystick up should work along with the buttons (for the up movement)...

Going from memory just pressing up on the joystick should be enough for the movement, but as I said, mine is now a 2600 joystick so I can't check.

Could be a trace somewhere around that pad is busted. Any cracks in the PCB or obviously worn trace lines? These things are usually made pretty cheap.
