Game Info

Multiple versions of this game were released in 1993 by Sony Imagesoft, shortly after the 1992 movie of the same name. They aren't all the same game, though most of them are very similar to the NES version.

Other platforms: Amiga, Game Boy, Game Gear, Genesis, Sega CD, Sega Master System, SNES

Prequels/sequels/spinoffs: No direct relations to this game, though there are of course a bazillion games based on the story of Dracula.

Tips

darthkur:

Quote

I had a real hard time with [the first boss] before I caught on to it's pattern. You definitely need to grab the bag of rocks, that defy gravity, and float up to you. You then need to pick either the top level or bottom level to lure the monster to. You could do both but I find it difficult. Stand there for a second or two then you will see it come towards you. Either jump up or down, depending where you are obviously, then wait for it to traverse the ground and then turn around and go back. When it goes away from you get to it's level and let the rocks fly. Keep doing this until it's dead. It takes a few hits.

Not the easiest of games. Haven't figured out how to kill the second level boss yet.

And we're done! Hope you all - all two of you - er, us - enjoyed playing Dracula! Now, for something similar, but probably much more popular...

Yeah, it's a shame no one else gave this a try. It really is an interesting game, albeit fairly difficult.
